MOBILE LEGENDS: BANG BANG Professional League Philippines (MPL-PH) takes it up a notch with the implementation of a new scoring system, playoffs bracket adjustments, and global mid-season transfers for Season 14.
Expect the unexpected as the league introduced a worldwide open transfer system that permits mid-season transfers, not only between MPL and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Development League (MDL) teams but across the entire MLBB Esports ecosystem.
The MPL-PH teams can now explore more possibilities as they are now permitted to recruit, release, or trade players among themselves during the transfer window, including overseas players and free agents as well.
The transfer window will be open after the first week of the regular season, every Monday at 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The scoring system
Meanwhile, the scoring system for the MPL-PH Season 14 also received format tweaks, making each point count more than ever to climb up the regular season rankings.
The winning team, whether by 2:0 or 2:1, will only gain one point, while the losing team, whether by 1:2 or 0:2, will not receive any points.
Each team will play best-of-three matches with the seven other teams twice during the regular season.
During the playoffs, only the top two seeded teams from the regular season will punch a ticket to the Upper Bracket Semifinals to their advantage.
Then the remaining four teams will battle it out to keep their dreams alive and secure the remaining spots in the Upper Bracket Semifinals.
The playoff bracket will now feature an extended Lower Bracket Finals match, transitioning from a best-of-five to a thrilling best-of-seven series.
Aurora, Blacklist International, Falcons AP.Bren, Fnatic Onic PH, RSG Philippines, Smart Omega, Team Liquid Philippines, and TNC Pro Team will duke it out in the Land of Dawn for MPL supremacy and the honor of representing the Philippines at the M6 World Championship in Axiata Arena at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, later this year.
The MPL-PH Season 14 officially kicks off on August 16 at the Green Sun Hotel, Makati City. On Fridays and Sundays, matches are scheduled at 5 p.m., while Saturday matches start at 2:30 p.m.
