IN the aftermath of Typhoon Opong’s devastation in the Bicol Region and the powerful 6.9-magnitude earthquake in Cebu, countless families were left displaced, their homes destroyed.
The spirit of bayanihan inspired MOONTON Games, in partnership with the ABS-CBN Foundation’s Sagip Kapamilya, to reach out to the hardest-hit communities with both compassion and action.
Over the past weeks, volunteers and local partners joined hands to deliver relief packs filled with rice, canned goods, and daily necessities to families struggling to get back on their feet in the Bicol Region and parts of Cebu, including Bogo City, San Remigio, Medellin, and Daangbantayan.
The simple act of compassion through relief efforts is a reminder that in moments of loss, no Filipino stands alone.
“With every relief pack we share, we hope families feel the warmth, care, and compassion that come with it. This is more than just providing aid, it’s also about reminding every Filipino that they are not alone, that a community stands with them through every hardship,” MOONTON Games Brand Marketing Manager Jose Chua, Jr. said.
“As a gaming company, our purpose has always gone beyond the screen. We are a community bound by connection, empathy, and shared strength. And in times like these, that sense of unity matters more than ever,” Chua added.
