She recently shared an anecdote during a press conference for the Pride Month Mobile Legends tournament fundraiser: "Napagalitan ako ng nanay ko na, 'Ano ba gusto mo, mag-aral or mag-games na lang?' Games make me happy, but I have different priorities when I got older. I realized na it's okay and (turned that interest) into work."
In a 2013 interview with Inquirer Lifestyle, Megan admitted, "I think I'm an RPG-kind-of-girl. I really love role-playing games, but I did grow up with Super Mario and...basta ako Mario girl talaga and Pokémon...hands down!"
