MAMBA FOREVER!
5x NBA Champion, 18x NBA All-star, Olympic gold medalist, and Hall of Legends inductee, Kobe Bryant, was announced to be the official cover athlete of NBA 2K24. The announcements were made on the game's official Facebook account.
Two editions will be released as there would be the Kobe Bryant edition and the Black Mamba edition. Fans can pre-order their copy of the upcoming NBA 2K game on the following day.
The Black Mamba became the main cover of the NBA 2K series back in 2K10 and became a special edition cover in NBA 2K17 and 2K21, with the latter commemorating Kobe's legacy after his tragic death back in 2020.
Kobe has also been prominent in the NBA 2K series with the latest installments featuring the Lakers with him and his prominent tag team partner Shaquille O'Neal. He is also part of the All-Time Los Angeles Lakers squad.
