ONIC PHILIPPINES officially announced Joy as their signature skin after claiming the championship title at the M6 World Championship in Kuala Lumpur last December 2024.
Flashy, electrifying, and agile, Joy perfectly resonates with the identity of ONIC Philippines and its star jungler, Cyric “K1NGKONG” Perez.
ONIC Philippines picked Joy in honor of K1NGKONG’s stellar performance at the M6 World Championship, drawing inspiration from his daredevil plays and lightning-speed reflexes.
"Joy herself almost represents ONIC Philippines by her skills and color. Joy is one of K1NGKONG’s signature heroes, and as I remember, when ONIC Philippines picked Joy, the crowd went crazy," ONIC Esports Vice President for Esports Franchise Denver "Coach Yeb" Miranda said.
Beatrix: The Gold Standard
"I feel happy and honored to co-design Beatrix. The FMVP skin that I will work on will help signify my legacy in MLBB Esports. I chose her because as a gold laner, I embody some of her attributes, like her ability to adapt and be precise when shooting the enemies," Kelra said.
This is the second time MOONTON Games is offering the Finals MVP a chance to co-design a skin, with the inaugural David 'FlapTzy' Canon’s Paquito M5 Finals MVP skin.
Blacklist International honored their captain, Johnmar 'OhMyV33NUS' Villaluna, with support hero Estes as their M3 skin. ECHO Philippines opted for Chou as their M4 skin, inspired by their 'Echo Express' strategy. AP.Bren chose Brody for M5 skin.
ONIC Philippines and MOONTON Games are currently collaborating on the upcoming in-game commemorative skins, scheduled for release in September 2025.
