A NEW BEGINNING awaits the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) as esports will officially make its debut.
From August 13 to 21, students, fans, and alumni can show their school spirit and cheer for their universities in Ateneo de Manila University's Arete.
In its esports debut, the UAAP will feature three games namely NBA 2K, VALORANT, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. All eight schools will participate in the festivities.
Schedule
NBA 2K will happen from August 13-15, while VALORANT will take place from the 13th until the 16th.
Mobile Legends will have its own separate dates from August 17-21.
Just like in traditional esports events, the competition be divided into group and playoff stages. Tickets prices vary as group stage tickets are worth Php100, while playoff stage tickets are priced at Php150.
As for the viewership, the events will be shown on One Sports, Varsity Channel and Pilipinas Live.
