TEAM SECRET has been eyeing for a rebirth with their new roster featuring a mix of young guns and seasoned veterans, hoping to make a statement in the VCT 2024: Pacific Kickoff campaign.
Unfortunately, that statement wasn't a trip to Madrid as the team lost to Gen.G Esports during the Play-Ins.
However they did deliver an exclamation point against Talon Esports during the Group Stages.
During their first encounter, it was Talon who edged the Filipino squad 2-0, however revenge was certainly in Team Secret's mind in their 2nd bout.
As Team Secret were about to deliver their sweep, one of their players started smack talking the opposition.
Adrian "invy" Reyes couldn't contain his emotions as he screamed: "P*****ina mo durog ka!"
The Filipino VALORANT community was left with no choice but to laugh, with Team Secret mascot Razzie Binx going bonkers upon hearing Invy's battlecry.
In the end, Secret completed the sweep against their foes, though their victory wasn't enough to push them to greater heights.
With Secret out of the Pacific Kickoff, the team will now bank on VCT 2024: Pacific League - Stage 1. A top three finish will push them to Masters Shanghai.
