FANS OF LEAGUE OF LEGENDS and fighting games could scream upon hearing Riot Games' latest video game project known as Project L. The developers published a video, which hinted the game's overall look and mechanics.

Project L is an upcoming fighting game centered on the League of Legends universe. While most fighting games would introduce a 1-v-1 mechanic between players, Project L takes it to the next level as it pits two players against another pair. Each player from their respective teams can only control their chosen hero/character.

However the game doesn't just limit players to stick with the 2-v-2s as they can also opt to play the traditional 1-v-1 game mode, where they can control two champions.

While this may seem fun at first glance, the thrills don't just end there as the game also encourages players to experiment and explore various playstyles. Before the match begins, players can select a method or playstyle on how their champions would synergize.

So far only three League of Legends characters have been revealed namely Darius, Ekko, and Ahri, and a fourth one would be introduced in the upcoming EVO 2023 event.
