ONE OF THE BIGGEST NAMES in the local collegiate basketball scene is actually a Mobile Legends: Bang Bang player as a screenshot from MLBB pro player Mujahid "Malik" Malik who revealed a converstion he had with De La Salle's Kevin Quiambao.
It was Quiambao who initiated the conversation via Instagram.
"Isang karangalan idol! Idol na idol kita sa ML," said Quiambao to Malik.
Malik initially thought it was a prank, but Quiambao assured him that wasn't the case.
"Hindi boss! Naadik ako sa ML nung pandemic," he replied.
It comes to a surprise that Malik, who has served in TODAK's inactive roster, was given the fan treatment from one of the brightest prospects in local basketball. Perhaps this could serve as motivation for the former Bren Esports jungler to keep on grinding.
Malik last played for Todak back in Season 11, where his team garnered the overall championship in MPL Malaysia.
As he tries his best to keep afloat in the MLBB pro scene, Quiambao has been racking up awards in the UAAP, bringing the Green Archers their championship trophy back in Season 86, which led to his Finals MVP accolade.
And with these two players interacting online, perhaps a collaboration could potentially take place.
Or we could see Quiambao make a surprise appearance in MLBB events.
