CYBERPUNK 2077 is shaping up to be one of the season’s most highly anticipated video games.
Keanu Reeves, who also stars in the game as the character Johnny Silverhand, recently dropped a commercial for the futuristic open-world RPG from the makers of The Witcher video games.
And now, Rockstar Energy Drink has partnered with developers CD Projekt Red to create a customized Mustang based on one of the rides you can drive inside the game.
Of course, since the game is set in a dystopian future with cybernetically enhanced people and feuding criminal gangs, there’s actually no Ford or Mustang inside the game. Instead, Rockstar’s in-house garage restored and modded a 1970 Mustang 302 to recreate an in-game car called the Quadra V-Tech.
According to reports, the team layered on a custom grille (with the word Quadra emblazoned on the corner), plus a customized yellow wrap with black elements, and a set of black-painted wheels.
Under the hood, it also fitted the original V8 engine with fuel injection, a new pair of air filters, and a dual-exhaust system.
One lucky fan will get to win the car by logging onto this site. But it’s only available to residents of the US, Canada, and Mexico.
