TEAM FALCONS staged a reverse sweep against AP.Bren to extend their winning streak to four in Week 4 of the MPL Philippines Season 15 regular season.
Past meets present. As the old and new Hive generations duked it out, veteran jungler Kyle “KyleTzy” Sayson applauded AP.Bren’s up-and-coming talent Jonathan “JamesPangks” Mendoza.
“Sobrang galing niya kapag nabigyan siya ng space, lalo na kapag mga assassin, Joy, Suyou, Hayabusa. Once na nakuha niya na yung mga gusto niya na mga farm, alam niya na yung mga dapat gagawin niya sa susunod,” KyleTzy commented.
JamesPangks made a statement of prowess in the series opener, guiding the Hives to victory over Team Falcons with an outstanding 3-0-5 KDA on Hayabusa.
“Masasabi ko na lang, good luck sa career niya, tsaka nakikita ko naman yung potential niya. Nakakasabay talaga siya sa mga beterano na jungler,” KyleTzy said, acknowledging JamesPangks’s potential to become a top-tier jungler in the future.
Fresh from MDL Philippines, JamesPangks feels the weight of proving himself against top-tier junglers, yet he was moved when he looked back on how far he has come. JamesPangks' path has taken him from aspiring to be a pro player to finally making it to the MPL stage, where he's now standing alongside legendary junglers who inspired him—a true full-circle moment.
“Ang na feel ko nung nakita ko sa screen, parang naiiyak ako na ewan na masaya. Proud ako sa sarili ko kasi may nakikita silang potential sa akin,” JamesPangks said.

Meanwhile, Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno’s greatness will undeniably echo for more years to come and will continue to transform the lives of the players like JamesPangks.
“Yung Season 6 Karl kasi doon po ako nag start maglaro; siya yung napapanood ko noon, tapos galing na galing ako sa kaniya that time,” JamesPangks recalled.
JamesPangks might be a new face in the league, but he takes inspiration from the best—none other than his idol KarlTzy—to develop more courage whenever he takes on the MPL stage.
“Tingin ko po yung ginagawa ko lang na nakita ko sa kaniya yung tapang niya maglaro. Nung mga unang mga series namin, medyo takot pa ako kasi kinakapa ko pa yung sa MPL. Tingin ko yun yung nagagawa ko, yung pagiging matapang sa game,” he pointed out.
