RSG PHILIPPINES improved their 2-3 win-loss slate after a decisive sweep of Blacklist International in the third week of the MPL Philippines Season 14 Regular Season action on Saturday at the Green Sun Hotel in Makati City.
As Raiders and Codebreakers went for a heated showdown for a redemption arc, the battle intensified in the gold lane, where grit, mindset, and chemistry could spell the difference.
After delivering a commendable performance in the gold lane, Clarense “Kusey” Camilo gave honest feedback about the performance of Blacklist International’s gold laner, “Kiel “Oheb” Soriano.

Kusey gives Oheb a 5/10
“I would rate Oheb, maybe five out of ten. In gold lane, maybe top six [or] seven because he cannot utilize his teammates well,” Kusey rated, observing Oheb's inability to harness his team's power to reinforce Blacklist.
The side-by-side comparison of two gold laners in this series shows noticeable contrasts in their performance, with Kusey boasting a flawless 4-0-2 KDA on Karrie and a 3-1-6 KDA on Harith, whereas Oheb only managed to deliver a 1-2-2 KDA on Natan and a 0-1-3 KDA on Bruno.
As Blacklist International grappled to find the right dynamics and perfect gameplay executions, Kusey felt that Oheb was more inclined to follow rather than take charge.
“Di ko po sure kung tama ‘yung nararamdaman ko, pero feel ko po is tagasunod lang siya sa kakampi niya ngayon. Parang hindi niya nagagalaw ‘yung sarili niyang laro. Parang hindi siya nakaka-shotcall ng gusto niya talaga niyang mangyari. More on sunod sa galaw ng kakampi niya, kaysa sa sarili niya,” Kusey pointed out.
Kusey acknowledged how the MPL PH Hall of Legends inductee, Johnmar "OhMyV33NUS" Villaluna, played a key role in guiding and unlocking Oheb's full potential during their time with Blacklist International's renowned main five lineup.
“In terms of shotcalls po talaga and sobrang wise din po talaga nila sa mga shotcall noong time na nandoon po si V33nus,” Kusey expressed.

Kusey encourages MP The King
From allies to foes in the Land of Dawn, Kusey still holds his ex-See You Soon teammate, now Blacklist International’s jungler Michael "MP the King" Endino, in high regard, offering advice that could potentially turn things around for the better.
“Gusto ko lang sabihin sa kakampi ko dati na si MP, galingan niya lang lagi. More bonding sa kakampi niya and more brainstorming kung paano sila mag improve as a team,” Kusey said.
Approaching the halfway mark of the regular season, Blacklist International has to find a solution to halt their five-game skid before time runs out.
