FNATIC ONIC Philippines secured the first MPL Philippines Season 14 playoff berth in style, pulling off a stunning sweep against the reigning MPL Philippines champions Team Liquid Philippines at the Green Sun Hotel in Makati City.

The Sonics continue to rampage through the regular season with a flawless 8-0 record, making a statement that they are the “Super Family” for a reason.

Last season, Fnatic ONIC Philippines suffered an early elimination and finished in fifth place, but the Sonics are determined more than ever to bring home the championship title.

Future secured

Sitting atop the team standings and with a playoff spot secured, Duane “Kelra” Pillas, King "K1NGKONG" Perez, and head coach Anthony Dennis “Ynot” Senedrin have already set their sights on potentially taking the championship prize and creating a better future as their great motivator.

“Syempre ‘yung family ko, yung baby, and ‘yung wife ko. Kumbaga ginagawa kong inspirasyon na kailangan after ko dito sa esports, na makapagpatayo ako ng sarili kong bahay, magkaroon kami ng kotse, tsaka magkaroon nang malaking laman yung bangko ng baby ko,” Kelra said, expressing his intention to provide a secure future for his family and child.

“[Para] sa family ko and sa baby kong college,” K1NGKONG added.

“It’s automatic, family. As for investment, actually nakapag start na kami ni Duane, ni Kelra, ng maliit pa siya na business. Hopefully, something na mapalaki namin, which is yung sa pabango, D&Y Fragrance. It’s just the start, pero syempre nandito kami para kumbaga patibayin ‘yung future ng bawat isa,” coach Ynot said, chasing his dreams along with his teammates, both inside and outside the game.

Taking down the defending champions is only one of the many steps they have to take towards the championship that they are dreaming of. With three weeks left for the regular season, coach Ynot refused to be complacent and stayed grounded.

“Every single day, bago kami matulog, it’s a question of “Nag improve ba ako ngayong araw? “What do I have to do today for me to improve?”, coach Ynot pointed out, taking the opportunity to reflect on the team’s performance.

“Umaasa kami na hindi pa namin peak ‘to. Mahaba pa,” he added
