It’s payback time! Twisted Minds got their stylish revenge over TNC Pro Team in their regular season rematch. Despite the loss, TNC managed to secure their playoff spot, ending their slump which began back in Season 10.
Twisted Minds showcased exceptional discipline, understanding the perfect timing to engage and disengage while seizing every opportunity to punish TNC Pro Team’s mistakes.
“Sobrang linis ng laro nila ngayong araw, and nakikita ko din yun sa mga ibang games nila, sa ibang matches namin. Hindi lang talaga nila magawang maging consistent."
"Pero today, lagi silang consistent dahil dalawang games, parehong disiplinadong laro. Walang extracurricular activities na ginawa during game, kaya nag-result ng sobrang linis na laro. Low kills na game pero sa objectives panalo,” BON CHAN pointed out.
With the pressure mounting heading into the playoffs, Twisted Minds realized they needed to make bold decisions, rely on each other, and conquer their doubts before it was too late.
Going all out
“Mas matapang kami ngayon maglaro. Hindi na kami nagtatanungan. Kahapon kasi, puro tanungan pa, kaya ang bagal namin gumalaw. So ngayon, naayos na namin siya, napagusapan naman namin, kaya yun nagbunga,” Salic “Hadjizy” Imam explained, contrasting their recent match against Team Falcons with today’s performance.
“Kapag may opening, may opportunity na ite-take, iga-grab na namin agad. Hindi na kami nagtatanungan tapos alam na alam na namin gagawin ng bawat isa ngayon,” gold laner Jhonville “Outplayed” Villar said.
Twisted Minds isn’t out of the woods yet, but the pressure they were under has eased a little for the time being.
“Sobrang bawas ang pressure dahil unang-una, kung siguro natalo kami dito, two weeks break na hindi ka makatulog dahil hindi mo alam kalalagyan mo kung aabot ba kayo ng playoffs dahil gabi-gabi mong iniisip na “Kailangan namin matalo ‘to. Kailangan ma-sweep namin yung mga susunod na matches. Unlike dito, nagkaroon kami ng breathing room,” BON CHAN said.
