IT'S A NEW ERA for EA Sports as their popular football video game series has officially changed its name.
No longer will EA Sports and FIFA collaborate as the game is now called EA Sports FC. The developers published gameplay videos and trailers, which revealed the overall concept of the logo.
According to the developers, EA Sports FC 24's logo was shaped into a triangle, given the shape's impact in football. It was also showed during the livestream that Manchester City's Erling Haaland will be the front cover of the latest title, while a plethora of legends, current players, and female footballers will be the cover of the ultimate edition.
With FIFA's absence in the franchise, there were questions if the most notable features from the franchise would no longer be available, however some scenes from the trailers reveal that the game's signature features remain.
David Beckham, Johan Cruyff, and Andrea Pirlo's appearance are signs that the legends of the past are still playable and the game's Hypermotion and Frostbite technology remains. This means that the game still remains the authenticity of player movements and playstyles in real life.
Plus the pre-order rewards revealed that the game still has its ties with the UEFA Champions League.
Overall the game still maintains its core identity and perhaps we could expect more in the succeeding installments. FC 24 will make its worldwide launch on September 29, with fans receiving an early acces on the 22nd of the same month.
