RRQ's recent MPL Indonesia campaigns have never produced the desired outcome as the team failed to make a breakthrough and compete in the international stage.

But with their recent acquisitions, perhaps their fortunes could change.

RRQ announced the arrival of two Filipino players in their ranks, as former RSG PH jungler John "Irrad" Tuazon and former Minana EVOS roamer Borris "Brusko" Parro will take their talents to Indonesia.

Irrad has been a revelation when he arrived to RSG PH back in Season 11. Under the tutelage of Coach Brian "Panda" Lim, Irrad further honed his jungling mechanics and became one of the biggest names in the local scene.

While Irrad has been making a name in MPL PH, Brusko has yet to make his mark as he struggled to push his team to playoff contention since his debut back in Season 11.

Why Irrad could be the game changer for RRQ?

For the past couple of seasons, RRQ relied on the services of Albert "Alberttt" Iskandar and Ferdyansyah "Ferxiic" Kamaruddin in the jungler role.

Both are considered to be mechanically gifted maestros though it can be argued that Kairi "Kairi" Rayosdelsol's arrival has raised the jungling standards in Indonesia.

With Kairi, Onic Esports has been a dominant force in the region.

This raises the question, is a mechanically talented, Kairi-esque player the meta in Indonesia?

Irrad was once described by Coach Panda as a Kairi-like player, and given his status, he could be the answer that RRQ needs to rival Kairi's greatness.

However there are other factors to consider as this would be his first stint playing abroad. His communication with his teammates will be questioned.

Given his arrival, will RRQ aim to acquire a Filipino coach to ease the burden of communication, similar to Coach Paul Denver "Yeb" Miranda with Onic Esports?

Would this also mean that Ferxiic will no longer be a part of the team?
