BLACKLIST INTERNATIONAL has never been beaten by the same team twice. But this came to an end at the IESF finale, where Indonesia delivered the exclamation point to become the first team to end Blacklist's streak.

The Indonesians swept Sibol MLBB, 3-0, taking advantage of an automatic 1-0 from their upper bracket championship to propel their momentum to a clean sweep, and the gold medal at the IESF World Championship.

Team Philippines will return home with two silver medals.

How Indonesia ended the streak of Blacklist International

Just like in their opening day battle, the dynamic duo of Rizqi "Saykots" Damank and Rachmad "DreamS" Wahyudi was a thorn to Sibol's side, as their Yu Zhong + Petrify and Kaja combo thwarted the Codebreakers, especially Kiel "Oheb" Soriano.

And while it seemed that Blacklist was able to adapt, protecting Oheb in the succeeding matches, Indonesia was able to find other alternatives.

While Saykots stuck with his Yu Zhong, DreamS revealed another surprise pick: A Franco that became the game changer in the final clash.

His hook shots would instantly lock down key threats and perfectly synergized with Dalvin "Hijumee" Ramadhan's Yve and Jabran "Branz" Wiloko's Beatrix.

The burst damage they produced was too much for Sibol. Even signature frontlining antics from Danerie James "Wise" Del Rosario and Johnmar "OhMyV33nus" Villaluna wasn't enough to salvage the team.

The Akai factor from Darrel "Tazz" Wijaya also stomped one key threat, while V33nus' Lolita was corralled by the crowd control effects from Indonesia.

Total chaos ruled in favor of the Indonesian squad, and Blacklist suffered in the most crucial teamfights in Game 2.

With their backs on the wall, Sibol tried desperately to bounce back. With their Kaja, Baxia, and Lapu-Lapu picks, the Philippines was able to gain the early momentum.

But as the match went on, Indonesia found their groove with the timed engagements of Saykots and DreamS.

Saykots' Yu Zhong would once again rattle Sibol with his backline assaults. Sibol retreats were also cut off by DreamS' Kadita, who would pop his ult for more damage.

Then Branz's Melissa slowly gained momentum, with his pokes limiting the movements of Sibol.

Despite Edward "Edward" Jay Dapadap heroics and some clutch Lord steals, Indonesia declared checkmate, dissecting Blacklist's every move to give them their gold medal finish... and the bragging rights to be the first team to beat Blacklist back-to-back.
