A NEW beginning awaits John Paul "H2wo" Salonga given his arrival to Omega Esports. With him being a part of the team, questions will be raised if H2wo can finally reach a different level in his career.

However things could've reached a sudden twist as H2wo received other offers from rival teams. In an interview with the press, H2wo revealed the other teams who tried to acquire him.

MPL Indonesia's EVOS Glory recently acquired former RSG Coach John "Theo" Eusebio, opening the possibilities for H2wo to follow his destination.

However there was also another team that drew interest to H2wo, the so-called Codebreakers of MLBB esports.

How H2wo ended up with Omega?

Yet despite the offers he received, H2wo admitted that he never expected to be contacted by any of the MPL teams locally as he spent the offseason taking a hiatus.

Until Omega started knocking on his door. H2wo then chose the Barangay and remained grateful for giving him a second chance for redemption.

Kaya thank you sa Omega"

Why the Philippines?

While there have been attempts from international orgs to acquire H2wo, the Filipino jungler mentioned that he always prefers playing in the Philippines instead of overseas.

It may be tempting to pursue a career abroad given the lucrative salaries, but H2wo was adamant to stay.
