Smart Omega: The ‘barangay’ goes to the Worlds

The country’s pride in CODM is looking to finish some unfinished business by finally playing in the Worlds. The team initially qualified way back in 2019, but was unable to play due to heightening COVID-related restrictions at the time.

Since then, Smart Omega has gone through a lot of ups and downs. They went through a rough patch in 2021, and failed to qualify for that year’s iteration of the CODM Worlds. They then turned it around this year, with the help of some key additions of Ronan “Rage” Eleria and Jonnel “R1SKY” Buemio to complete and complement the core lineup of John Kenneth “KenDy” Pimentel, Kennedy “iDra” Mondoy, and team captain Jerrold “Woopiiee” Regay.

At North Carolina,Smart Omega is looking to make the fellow Pinoys proud and bring glory to the country.
