ESL SNAPDRAGON drew flak after initially announcing Aurora MLBB would proceed to the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Season 6 playoffs, only to later revise the announcement in favor of Indonesia’s RRQ Hoshi.
Despite claiming back-to-back wins against compatriots Team Falcons PH and Indonesia’s EVOS Holy on the last day of the group stage, which ultimately gave them three match victories, Aurora MLBB was expected to claim a spot in the playoffs until the results took an unexpected turn.

Aurora MLBB coach Dexster “Dexstar” Alaba voiced out his concerns and questioned the fairness of the final standings through numbers.

“Kung i-apply pala yung same scenario sa nangyari samin, Hindi ko alam kung deserve ba na Team 2 yung papasok sa Playoffs,” Dexster “Dexstar” Alaba wrote.
A picture is worth a thousand words, as the saying goes, and some players did not utter much as they hinted on their discontent over the results.

Despite the outcomes, Aurora MLBB remained graceful in defeat and kept their head held high.
“It should not go unnoticed how the team gave their best in every match. We were far from perfect, but we gave it a shot every single time. Our aim was to defy the odds, but it was simply just against us this time around."
"To our Auroras who supported us in this league and never left the rollercoaster of a ride we’ve had, this one is for all of you."
"Our Snapdragon Pro Series stint may have ended here, but our fight to spread the light continues."
"OUR LIGHTS WILL ALWAYS SEIZE THE WIN. GGWP, RORA!,” Aurora MLBB posted.
