RUMORS HAVE been swirling around that RSG Philippines will disband and with the recent departure of key figures, the possibilities have increased.
Up-and-coming jungler, John "Irrad" Tuazon was the first building block to fall, followed by Coach John "Theo" Eusebio's departure.
Then came another major announcement.
Out goes gold laner Eman "EMANN" Sangco, who is considered to be one of the most underrated gold laners in the scene. RSG Philippines made their official announcement on their social media pages.
EMANN has been integral to the Raiders' championship runs in MPL Philippines Season 9, MSC 2022, and MPL: Invitational 2023.
MPL shoutcaster Frederick Handy "Mirko" Lo, was left with high praises about EMANN's skills in a podcast with Caisam "Wolf" Nopueto.
"Maybe I wouldn't say that he is the best gold laner, right? But I would say he is the most intelligent gold laner in the world."
"His itemization, his laning, EMANN is f*cking smart man," reflected Mirko.
Is RSG PH disbanding?
Wolf's podcast likewise shed some hints on RSG's status in the Philippine MLBB scene, with Mirko saying, "Cause I heard rumors that RSG is disbanding, like I mean tha team is starting to separate right? So EMANN's going, Irrad is already in RRQ."
However as the duo kept on talking, there was another name that was brought up, Coach Brian "Panda" Lim.
Wolf revealed that Coach Panda's time might reach its end, based on their conversation.
"Basically mentioned that it's almost over. The amount of time that he needs to stay in the Philippines is almost over."
Then when looking at Coach Panda's personal Facebook account, he mentioned that RSG Philippines is looking for an assistant coach for MPL S13.
The phrase "Helping a Friend" was seen.
