BURMESE GHOULS, a team that surprisingly made leaps and bounds by reaching the M2 World Championship finale, has now made one of the biggest moves in their offseason.
Historically the Ghouls have deployed a lineup featuring Myanmar's best, but this time around they decided to secure their first international player.
All the way from the Philippines, is a player who is in desperate of a new beginning, Gerald "Dlar" Trinchera.
A new beginning awaits Dlar
Dlar last played for EVOS Legends, where he experienced a mixed bag of results. There was a time when he became the sparkplug who could potentially change the fortunes of his team as seen in the MSC 2023 campaign.
However most of the time he was seen on the bench.
He last became a star-studded player when he was still playing for Onic Philippines back in Season 9. The previous season saw Dlar shine as one of the best EXP laners in the scene, as he was an integral piece for Onic's success in the M3 World Championship.
Yet despite his talents, he has never won any major trophy in his career.
Now with Burmese Ghouls, perhaps the General could finally experience his much needed rejuvenation. Together with Filipino Coach Steven "Dale" Vitug, perhaps the Ghouls could once again rise to prominence.
