BREN ESPORTS wouldn't be able to overachieve and potentially make a championship run in Season 10 if it weren't for the efforts of their analyst, Paulo "Pauloxpert" Munsayac.
Yet despite his valiant contributions, Bren announced his departure in their official Facebook page.
In their post, the organization said, "We all know him as the analyst who joined the team half-way through the MPL S8 and has later transitioned to become a coach with mind-blowing draft picks that amazed everyone during S10."
"He has showcased so much growth and potential in what he does best during his time with us. But for now, we part ways. We wish you all the best in the new chapter of your career! Thank you, Pauloxpert!"
Pauloxpert expressed his gratitude for the opportunities given to him.
"I've learned so much dito sa BREN! Thank you sa lahat ng players na nakasama ko and all the colleagues I worked with! It it weren't for you guys, I wouldn't be able to do what I can do right now!
"Special thanks to Coach Ralph Andrei Llabres for giving me this opportunity from the start and to Francis Glindro for being such a great mentor. To Adi Padilla for helping me whenever I have problems in life and ofcourse to Boss Jeff Victoriano and Boss Jab Escutin for entrusting me with such a position with almost no achievements or experience."
"Sa mga players ko nman, this is not goodbye, message nyo lang ako pag may mga problema kayo sa buhay or if you need guidance in any way and I'll be willing to talk to you and help you."
Pauloxpert career retrospective
Prior to Bren's ascent, Pauloxpert was once a professional player for Team Gosu, who competed in the M1 World Championship. After a brief stint in the professional scene, he became an MLBB content creator, showcasing his analytical perspectives.
This eventually led to his acquisition by various Filipino orgs. He tried making a name for himself in the amateur scene with Sunsparks, before becoming part of Bren Esports.
Initially, he was criticized as Bren suffered from a losing streak during his time as the primary drafter.
But in Season 10, he managed to bounce back, helping pave the way for Bren's resurgence and an unexpected fourth place finish.
