FRESH OFF the Snapdragon Pro Series: Mobile Masters 2025, ONIC Philippines has returned to action and pulled off a dramatic reverse sweep against their powerhouse opponents, Team Liquid Philippines, in Week 7 of the MPL Philippines Season 15.

From Malaysia, China, and to Indonesia, the past couple of months for ONIC Philippines have undeniably been a world tour.

ONIC Philippines has extended their list of championships, claiming the M6 World Championship title, the Snapdragon Pro Series Season 6 APAC Challenge Finals, and, most recently, the Snapdragon Pro Series: Mobile Masters 2025.

But how does the Super Family cope with the overwhelming pressures and the mental and physical exhaustion that could take a toll on them?

“Nakakapagod talaga. 'Pag sa esports, ano bang gugustuhin mo? Mapagod o panoorin mo lang silang naglalaro?” head coach Tony “YnoT” Senedrin admitted.

The challenges ahead

ONIC Philippines, together with other teams, not only adapts to each other’s strategy but also to the constantly evolving META that challenges their versatility.

“Yung sa pag-overthink kasi nga yung patch medyo malaki. Yung mental toughness, lagay mo na diyan. Let’s say may factor din,” he added.

ONIC Philippines ran into a few hurdles this season, with rivals eyeing to dethrone them—but they continue to prove that their reign is far from over.

Upon their return to the local league, coach Ynot refused to paint ONIC Philippines as the sole hardworking team after months of the MLBB world tour but also gave utmost respect to the consistent grind of other teams as well.

“The other teams, hindi rin nagpahinga yan mga yan. I’m pretty sure hindi rin sila nagpahinga. Lahat ng mga team may kaniya-kaniyang gustong patunayan,” he expressed.

ONIC Philippines will face AP.Bren, Smart Omega, and Twisted Minds in their upcoming matches as they aim for the top of the standings and an upper bracket spot.
