Coach YnoT on ONIC’s fighting spirit: 'Nakakatuwang panoorin!'

ONIC PHILIPPINES maintained their momentum and earned their fourth straight win streak with a commanding 2-0 sweep against TNC Pro Team in Week 5 of the MPL Philippines Season 15.

Neutralizing the storm of TNC’s Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzalez, how did ONIC Philippines remain composed when pushed back against the wall?

Bennyqt stole the spotlight with a savage kill score in game two, attempting to force a decisive game three against ONIC Philippines. But the Super Family had the last laugh, dashing any hopes of the TNC Pro Team to stage a dramatic reverse sweep.

Coach Tony "YnoT" Senedrin still acknowledged TNC’s strong showing and applauded ONIC for maintaining composure when things didn't go as planned.

“Applause to TNC! Ang ganda ng preparation nila. Meron silang hinanda na maganda talaga. I think maganda lang din yung reaction ng players ng team ko. So kung maririnig mo kasi sila kanina, tinanong kung ano yung reaction after nung savage. Kumbaga next play kaagad. Very good effort from the team. Very proud,” coach YnoT said, commending ONIC’s ability to stay in control of their reactions and restrategize swiftly under pressure.

ONIC consistently proves they are still a force to be reckoned with, and their resilient mentality is growing stronger than ever despite facing a few setbacks.

“I think today, pinakamagandang display ng resilience nitong team. May mga mistakes that led to the savage pero; ang pinakamahalaga was what they did after. Nakaka-proud. Nakakatuwang panoorin,” coach YnoT expressed.

Just as gold is refined in fire, a brave spirit is forged through adversities. ONIC improves not just their prowess in the battlefield but also their values and characters.

“One thing I gotta say is, mas proud ako sa players ngayon kasi I think yung professionalism mas lumalabas sa kanila. Even at a young age, yung pinapakita nila on a daily basis how they take yung mga things na sinasabi naming coaches."

"So, nakakatuwa in a sense kasi nagkakaroon ako personally ng vision na after esports, I believe na mas tumitibay or mas natutuwa ako kasi alam ko na mas may pupuntahan sila after,” coach YnoT said.
