Twisted Minds was dubbed the “Dark Horse” of the season, and it was their valiant effort that pushed the reigning world champions to their limit in the grueling best-of-five series.
Unexpected picks? That’s just classic Twisted Minds, and ONIC PH’s Head Coach Tony “YnoT” Senedrin praised them for playing to their strengths.
“I think naging true lang sila sa binuo nilang strategy for the past three weeks. Maganda yung naging execution nila. I think yung overall kung paano namin lalabanan, doon nanibago yung team,” Coach YnoT said.

“I’m very thankful na sila yung nakalaban namin kasi medyo iba yung laro nila sa teams na nakakalaban namin. Iba yung meta talaga ni BON CHAN eh. I really applaud what they did,” Coach YnoT added, recognizing BON CHAN’s tactical brilliance.

“I think medyo one of a kind sila kung ikukumpara ko sila sa ibang teams here in Philippines and internationally as well. Actually yung playstyle nila if makalusot ng international yun, maraming tatalunin yan,” YnoT expressed.
Jomarie "Escalera" Delos Santos also delivered commendable performances on Guinevere and Baxia in games three and four, helping Twisted Minds push the series to a thrilling game five.
When the stakes couldn’t be higher and elimination was imminent, ONIC PH was confident enough to gamble everything and debuted Lancelot for the season in the hands of Cyric “K1NGKONG” Perez.
“Napa-practice kasi namin yung Lancelot tapos nagkataon lang na yung mga pick ng Twisted Minds sobrang nag-fit yung Lance na pick namin,” K1NGKONG explained.
ONIC PH advances to the upper bracket semifinals, where they will be facing their familiar rivals Aurora Gaming on Thursday, May 29.
