The iconic blue slash on top of every PS4 game box — so familiar to a generation of PlayStation gamers — will be swapped out when the PS5 releases this holiday season.
In general, though, it looks about the same as the old PS4 boxes.
(The same, however, can’t be said of the look of the new console itself, which is a huge departure from the usual minimalist tech look.)
PlayStation revealed the new look in a post published today (Manila time) with a look at the official cover for Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
And in what may be a case of burying the lede, check out Miles Morales’ video game costume, too. Very nice. We miss the Air Jordan 1s from the Into the Spider-Verse version, but all in all, it looks great.
