BOOM ESPORTS reigns supreme after pulling off a 4-3 Grand Finals victory over Blacklist International in the inaugural Philippines Kings League Spring 2025 on Sunday at One Ayala Makati.

The Codebreakers dominated the regular season with an impressive 14-0 series record and maintained their undefeated status through the playoffs, proving their status as one of the league's finest.

But BOOM Esports threatened Blacklist’s reign of terror in the opening game of the PKL grand finale, with Karl “KARLLL” Bautista on Augran leading the charge with a flawless 9-0-5 KDA.

In Game 2, Blacklist swiftly retaliated and stormed past BOOM Esports with a lopsided 10-2 kill score to tie the grand finale series at 1-1.

Chammy "Chammy1" Nazarrea, playing as Biron, earned the MVP citation with an impressive 5-0-6 KDA.

A back-and-forth struggle

Blacklist continued to ride their momentum in Game 3, but BOOM Esports refused to back down and fought valiantly in an effort to prolong the series.

However, the crucial moment arrived when Blacklist successfully repelled BOOM Esports during the 16-minute siege.

It rendered BOOM Esports’ defenses weaker, and Blacklist seized the opportunity to pull off an ace and seal the victory.

Justine "Juschie" Tan on Luna stole the spotlight with a spectacular 16-2-3 KDA, bringing Blacklist to a 2-1 series lead.

In Game 4, Blacklist inched closer to claiming the PKL Spring 2025 championship title after another commanding win against BOOM Esports.

Chammy1 on Mi Yue took center stage with clutch plays and pulled off a perfect 7-0-8 KDA.

BOOM Esports held on to their PKL title hopes with a comeback victory over Blacklist in Game 5, courtesy of their minion waves.

Blacklist came out strong in the 19-minute top lane skirmish, yet mismanaging the minion waves proved costly.
