BOOM Esports defeated Team Flash PH, 4-2, in the PKL Spring 2026 Grand Finals, becoming the first-ever two-time champions in league history on Sunday at the Quantum Skyview Deck in Quezon City.
The PKL Spring 2026 winners walked away with $11,000, while Finals MVP Karl “Karlll” Bautista pocketed a $1,000 bonus.
BOOM Esports, runner-up Team Flash PH, and third-place Blacklist International will represent the Philippines at the upcoming Honor of Kings World Cup (KWC) in the Esports World Cup (EWC) in Saudi Arabia this July.
Setting the tone early, the bloodthirsty wolves of BOOM Esports took control of the first two games, with John “Daniii” Bulanadi anchoring the charge through a flawless 3-0-4 Ao’yin performance, while Karlll followed it up with a commanding 7-1-4 outing on Agudo.
But Team Flash refused to go down quietly. In Games 3 and 4, they fought back hard to tie the series at 2-2, leaning on Wen “GuXing” Guohao’s explosive 10-1-1 KDA on Lam and Ze Jian "QingC" Choe’s flawless 2-0-5 performance on Flowborn.
BOOM Esports quickly regained control in Game 5, securing a 3–2 matchpoint over Team Flash in just 11 minutes, highlighted by Karlll’s Lam erupting for a triple kill in a decisive clash lane teamfight before finishing with a 4-2-3 KDA.
In Game 6, the decisive moment came when Reniel “Dr4w” Angara’s Lian Po delivered a crucial two-man knockback that fueled BOOM’s final base push against Team Flash, sealing the championship and reinforcing their status as one of the region’s most dominant forces heading into the international stage.
