AFTER RUMORS AND SPECULATIONS, the decision has been made. The team which has inspired the MLBB scene has officially signed off. Blacklist International announced their departure in the scene on their official Facebook account.
“TO OUR AGENTS"
"Break the Code. Three simple words that did not mean much when we first uttered them in 2020."
"Yet only five years later, those words have transformed. They have become thunderous cheers, a player’s rallying cry, and a movement that shook the foundations of an entire esports scene. All thanks to our beloved agents who have been with us on this incredible journey," as stated by the team.
Looking back at its glory days, Blacklist International remains to be one of the most influential pillars in the scene. From inside the Land of Dawn and even outside the game, the Codebreakers carved a legacy.
"Our Mobile Legends: Bang Bang men’s squad was a team that literally changed the game: from the multiple championships, the UBE strategy, and highlight reels, to our jersey designs and viewership numbers that made us the 3rd most watched esports team in the world. We can stand proud knowing we wrote one of the most captivating stories in MLBB history."
But like all great stories, everything must come to an end…

What's next for Blacklist?
"Though we believe in the future of the MLBB community, with a heavy heart, we bid a bittersweet farewell to the Blacklist MLBB men’s team, as the organization has decided to transfer our MPL Franchise Ownership to a new organization for MPL season 15," said the org.
"This difficult decision was made in response to the business opportunity that was presented to us which aligns with the new direction of Tier One Entertainment to go beyond Esports."

Signing off
And while the org announced their departure in the scene, they reiterated that the doors are open for a comeback.
"While Blacklist International is open to reentering the league in the future, we want to use this time to reassess our position in the space. For now, the Blacklist International organization will be focusing our efforts into developing our rosters for our existing titles."
At the end of their post, the Codebreakers expressed their gratitude to the community who supported them all throughout.
"To every single agent who has cheered for us, shown up to our games and watch parties, bought our merch—for all your undying support—we thank you."
"To the MLBB players who have poured their heart and soul into the game and competed under the Blacklist International banner, we salute you."
"As one story ends, so begins another. Regardless of the future, we will always be proud of our past, and the stories that we had together will remain in our hearts forever."
"Blacklist International MPL team now signing off.”

A legacy like no other
Taking a trip down memory lane, Blacklist International stamped their class thrice in the local scene, claiming three MPL Philippines championship titles back in Season 7, 8, and 10.
The Tier One-backed team was also crowned as champions at the M3 World Championship in 2021, etching their name in the Land of Dawn with the iconic M3 Estes skin.
The Codebreakers continued to make waves globally, finishing as 2nd runner-up at the M4 World Championship and 3rd runner-up at the M5 World Championship in 2023.
Blacklist International may be gone, but their legacy will forever echo in the world of MLBB.
