“BAWI sa M4!”
This became the battlecry of Blacklist International fans, as the MLBB team — playing under the Sibol banner — fell to Indonesia in a clean sweep, 3-0.
It was an uphill battle from the start, with their regional rivals already starting with one game in their pocket, thanks to the IESF’s rules about upper bracket champions. (Sibol Dota 2 also started their own finals battle with that same advantage yesterday, but settled for silver in their own series versus Indonesia.)

And despite Edward “Edward” Dapadap’s heroics, Blacklist Sibol was unable to surmount the hump.
Nevertheless, on Twitter — where #BreakTheCode trended in the Philippine charts — fans still cheered them on, despite the heartbreak from Indonesia.
