AFTER RUMORS swirling around of a new MPL PH team entering the scene, things are now official. The northern lights will finally shine in the local MLBB scene as Aurora Esports has now entered the Land of Dawn.
The announcement were made on MPL Philippines' official page.
The official roster has yet to be announced and fans will have to wait until July 27 for the final roster. The team will be hosting an event at PARQAL, Aseana City in Paranaque on the said date.
Prior to this announcement, Setsuna "Akosi Dogie" Ignacio hinted on their arrival to the MPL PH and he even highlighted the team's potential roster featuring Renejay "Renejay" Barcarse, Edward "Edward" Dapadap, Jonard Cedrix "Demonkite" Caranto, Kenneth "Yue" Tadeo, and Jan "Domeng" Delmundo.
V33Wise shines bright
"The latest chapter in Aurora Gaming's expansion is the launch of our MLBB (Mobile Legends: Bang Bang) team based in Metro Manila, Philippines. With mobile esports’ brightest stars, the royal duo Ohmyv33nus and Wise Gaming joining our Aurora Gaming Company," started the org.
"There are a plethora of reasons to be excited about the future. We believe in the immense potential of MLBB as an esports discipline and we eagerly look forward to our roster showcasing their talents as part of Aurora’s hearth and home."
It is unsure what responsibilities await the V33Wise tandem in their Aurora Esports venture. Will they end up coaching the team? Will they finally return to the Land of Dawn as pro players? Only the stars can tell.
