AURORA Gaming overpowered Team Liquid PH with a 3–1 victory, to secure a spot in the MPL PH Season 16 Grand Finals and become the first Filipino team to represent the country at the M7 World Championship in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Team Liquid PH dominated Game 1, showcasing disciplined and precise play. The Cavalry went deathless until the 7-minute mark to build a massive 13,000-gold lead.
However, Aurora turned the tide at the 23-minute mid-lane skirmish, punishing Team Liquid PH’s overextension by eliminating Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno and Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya who were playing Yi Sun-shin and Arlott respectively.
Bow smelling blood, Aurora remained patient and completed a remarkable comeback in the 26-minute clash.
Cedrix “Demonkite” Caranto was pivotal for Aurora, delivering a 2-3-7 KDA performance that helped the team recover from the deficit.
Team Liquid bounced back in Game 2, refusing to let another lead slip away to level the series at 1–1.
The Cavalry clinched Game 2 after eliminating Demonkite and Edward “Edward” Dapadap during the 17-minute top-lane jungle clash.
Alston “Sanji” Pabico on Zhuxin earned MVP honors with a flawless 6-0-5 KDA and 100% kill participation.

It was a lead Aurora never relinquished.
Game 4 unfolded similarly in favor of Aurora, with its Ixia–Yve composition proving too much for Team Liquid PH to handle.
Dominic “Domengkite” Del Mundo shone on Ixia, scoring a maniac at the 10-minute mark to extend Aurora’s lead.
At 14 minutes, the Cavalry attempted a desperate Lord contest to spark a comeback, but the Northern Lights overwhelmed them and closed out the series decisively.
In the final moments of the game, Domengkite delivered a clutch double kill, taking down KarlTzy’s Baxia and Sanji’s Zhuxin.
