“At sa aming lupang sinilangan, never malalamangan!”

ICONIC. Chantelle found the perfect words to immortalize history at the M5 World Championship Grand Finals in Manila.

“Sa lupang sinilangan” means the land where we were born, while “never malalamangan” declares that no one can outshine us in our homeland. Together, they embodied AP.Bren’s triumph and the continuing legacy of Filipino teams on the world stage since M2.

Heart rates are spiking through the roof, and the stakes could not be higher. The M5 Grand Finals was no ordinary championship, it was a legendary best-of-seven battle between AP.Bren and regional rivals ONIC Indonesia.

For the Philippines, it wasn’t just about winning a trophy—it was about defending a dynasty and carrying the dreams of an entire nation.

The Mother of All Series

Chantelle, also known as the “Mother of All Series,” has been a running joke in the MPL community for some time, but what exactly is the context behind it?

Whenever Chantelle was on the desk, fans braced themselves—not just for her energy, but for marathon matches that almost always stretched to Game 3, Game 5, or even Game 7. From the M5 Grand Finals to the MPL Philippines Season 14 decider, her presence often felt like an omen for epic, drawn-out battles.

Chantelle on Eat Bulaga's "Bawal Judgmental"

You read that right—Chantelle once appeared on the noontime show Eat Bulaga’s “Bawal Judgemental” segment, not to chase clout, but to raise awareness about sexual harassment against women in esports.

A moment of vulnerability came when Alden Richards asked Chantelle if she had ever faced cruel words in her career. With honesty, she opened up about the unspoken burdens that a woman had to endure in esports.

“Nababasa ko yung mga comments. Ginagawa ko po yung best ko lagi pero parang kulang pa rin. One time, yung mga comments parang sexual na. Nag-burst na lang ako na umiiyak ako during stream,” she recalled.

During her guest appearance, Chantelle also revealed that she was raised by a single mother, and it hit her hard, to the point that she couldn't hold back her tears anymore.

“Ok lang na i-bash ako pero si mama kasi single parent po. Hindi naman ako pinalaki para bastusin at hindi ako nagta-trabaho para bastusin,” Chantelle expressed.

Chantelle comes off the casting desk from time to time and takes the role of a game analyst, and who could forget the flying pen incident in Season 15 that had everyone laughing?

Aurora Gaming and Team Falcons PH just went head-to-head in the opening game of their lower bracket match, and Chantelle, as usual, meant business in breaking down game statistics until she lost grip of her pen.

What followed was a hilarious break of character—she laughed it off, jokingly comparing it to Moskov’s Spear of Destruction.

It was one of those unscripted moments that made fans love her even more, proving that even when things go wrong, Chantelle always found a way to keep the energy light and still professional.
