BEN SELOE "Benthings" Maglaque has been one of the most loyal members of TNC Pro Team as he has stayed with the team despite all of the struggles they endured.
From Season 8, Benthings has seen all of the team's highs and lows, and after trying his best as the team's head coach in Season 13, it was time for him to bid his farewells.
TNC made a video paying tribute to Benthings, inspired by the Fast and Furious franchise.
"At kahit ano pa ang sabihin ng iba, ipaglalalaban pa rin kita.' Thank you for giving your all for us one last time," started the post.
"Though we'll miss you dearly, we deeply respect your decision to move forward. It's time for you to spread your wings and soar high like the Phoenix you are. Wherever life leads you, know that you'll forever hold a place in our hearts."
"You'll always have a home with us, no matter the distance, and regardless of the jersey you wear."
SDzyz returns
As Benthings says goodbye, the video highlighted the return of The Phoenix's former player. Enter Shemaiah "SDzyz" Chu, who last played for the org back in MPL PH Season 10.
SDzyz made headlines back in Season 9 when he became the team's focal point given how they were able to abuse the jungler meta patch. That was also the only season when TNC was a playoff contender as the rest of the seasons have been marred by poor performances.
