LOOK WHO has made a return to Onic Philippines.
To no one's surprise, the M6 World Champion lineup remains the same as King Cyric "K1NGKONG" Perez, Grant Duane "Kelra" Pillas, Jann Kirk "Kirk" Gutierrez, Frince Miguel "Super Frince" Ramirez, and Borris "Brusko" Parro are still with the squad, alongside coaches Anthony Dennis "YnoT" Senedrin and Jeniel "Haze" Bata-anon.
But if there was one key change in the lineup, it seems a former Onic PH player, specificially one that has lit up the squad back in the M3 World Championship, has finally returned as the prodigal son.
Hate returns
After years of grinding across numerous teams, Jaylord "Hate" Gonzales has decided to once again take up the Onic PH mantle, as announced by the team.
Hate last played for Onic PH back in Season 9 where the team finished 4th, getting ousted by Omega Esports. The previous season saw Hate reach his pinnacle pushing Onic to the M3 World Championship finale, only for his team to stumble against the might of Blacklist International.
After years with the Hedgehogs, Hate tried to hustle and grind across international teams in Cambodia and Malaysia, then he returned home to the Philippines for Seasons 13 and 14, joining TNC Pro Team. Both his attempts with TNC only yielded a last place finish.
With him joining the 'Super Family,' Hate is hoping to once again rekindle his lost spark.
