It feels like the universe has woven unbreakable invisible strings that tied coach Tony and Dorothy together to meet at the right place and time.
But the universe didn't just rely on invisible strings; it even sent coach Tony a sign of the woman he'd grow old with through a dream a long time ago.
“Before mga 20 (years old) plus ako, nagkaroon ako ng vivid dream na it was a girl, she had no face, walang facial feature na makikita talaga. So wala kang mamumukaan pero merong nunal. So nung first time na nakita ko siya sa personal, yun yung unang naalala ko,” coach Tony described in a exclusive interview with SPIN.ph, recalling the first time he saw his partner back in 2022.
When destiny called, coach Tony answered with unconditional love that would stand the test of time.

“Sobrang tagal na. Just waiting for the right time talaga to pop the question. I thought na might as well do it now kasi hindi naman magbabago yung nararamdaman ko for her. Gusto ko lang i-assure sa kaniya na this is how I feel. I want the whole community of MPL to be a witness,” he expressed, mulling over the proposal to his girlfriend before finally gathering the courage to do so.
True love is not about perfection, and life set coach Tony on a path that prepared his heart to be strong to embrace imperfections and love’s realities in forming his own version of the Super Family.
“Yung sa relationship kasi namin ni Doth (Dorothy), medyo unique. Di kami nag-start na kaming dalawa lang. Nung naging kami, meron na siyang tatlong anak. Definitely, di naman siya pressure for me. It's just that, yung parang sabi ko kanina sa stage na she gave my life purpose in a sense na na-realize ko na me coaching these fine gentleman (ONIC PH) was actually preparing me to be a father to more kids,” coach Tony explained.
Embracing new responsibilities
“Yung guidance sobrang halaga. How [do] you make sure na you make them feel that you love them? Pero syempre at the back of it, you need to be financially stable,” coach Tony said, putting an emphasis on the importance of financial stability in building a family.
Driven by a provider’s mindset, coach Tony stays committed to the hustle to ensure his family enjoys the best life possible.
“It's really not just about me anymore. Kailangan din yung pag-aaral, kailangan din yung pagdating sa healthcare, syempre kailangan meron kang nakatago for that. You need a house for security para sa kanila. Hindi na kasi ito yung parang pakilig-kilig lang. I really just had to make sure first na nakuha ko yung security na yun for myself para masigurado ko na I can share that security with them,” he added.
Stepping into the role of a full-time father in the near future, coach Tony reflects on the wisdom passed down by his father and uncles, who have influenced his view on being a good role model.
“Based sa kung paano yung dad ko, kung paano yung mga mahalagang mga tito or ninong sa buhay ko, it's just really being there, showing up, and making sure na lahat ng mga needs ng kids are always provided,” he said.
