Competing against the country’s top cyclists were VSPC riders Alexis Pagara, Jude Francisco, Miguel Obmerga, Marcelo Felipe, Ismael Grospe Jr., Nichol Pareja, and Daniel Cariño, who demonstrated skill, endurance, and determination throughout the competition.
Felipe emerged as National Road Race Champion, while Pareja bagged the silver medal in the Individual Time Trial.
VSPC’s developmental riders also showcased their rising talent, with Rush Camingao winning the Under-23 Road Race Championship, and Darius Villaseñor securing the title of Junior Individual Time Trial National Champion.
“This achievement is a testament to the hard work and discipline of our riders,” said VSPC founder Pako Ochoa. “Our goal has always been to develop world-class Filipino cyclists, and this result brings us one step closer to that vision.
“The team is more motivated than ever, and we will continue pushing the boundaries to prove that Filipino cyclists belong on the world stage. We are grateful for everyone who has been with us on this journey. We wouldn’t have come this far without those who believe in us.”
Ochoa also emphasized the team’s commitment to sustained excellence.
Considered as the country’s premier professional cycling team, VSPC remains focused on elevating Philippine cycling and preparing for future competitions as it set to compete in the Tour de Taiwan on March 16
