MARCELO Felipe finished 13th in Stage Two of Le Tour de Langkawi to gain the 12th spot in the overall general classification.
The 26-year-old Filipino rider from 7-Eleven Sava RBP was part of a 14-man first group led by Stage Two winner Italian Andrea Palini of Skydive Dubai Racing – Al Ahli Club that crossed the finish line with an identical clocking of three hours, 56 minutes, and two seconds in the 158.1km ride from Sungai Petani to Pulau Pinang, Malaysia.
In the overall individual classification, the Nueva Ecija rider has an aggregate time of eight hours, 11 minutes, 59 seconds or 16 seconds behind yellow jersey Andrea Guardini of the Astana Pro Team (8:11:43).
Felipe was 22nd in Stage One from Kangar to Baling of the Le Tour de Langkawi, one of the most prestigious cycling race in Asia classified as 2.HC race by the Union Cycliste Internationale.
