THE municipality of Pililla reminded its visitors to observe cultural sensitivity after a cyclist posted an inappropriate photo on social media at the Pililla Wind Farm.
A photo of cyclist exposing his buttocks and pointing a dirty finger in front of the Pililla landmark located at its iconic Wind Farm recently spread on social media, drawing negative criticisms from the cycling community.
The Pililla Wind Farm is one of the popular destinations of cyclists in the province of Rizal.
The LGU took notice of the photo and on its social media account Better Pililla recently, it reminded guests on how to observe cultural sensitivity and respecting the tourist spots they are visiting.
“Hiling po ng ating bayan at mga mamamayan nito sa mga dumadayo sa aming bayan, nawa palagi ating obserbahan ang cultural sensitivity at pag galang sa lugar na ating binibisita. Hindi lang sa aming bayan kundi sa lahat ng lugar na ating pinupuntahan,” wrote the Better Pililla Facebook page.
“Salamat po sa mga taong naappreciate ang ganda ng Pililia na merong respeto sa aming bayan. Para naman sa mga taong hindi nagpapabatid ng respeto sa aming bayan, nawa magabayan kayo at mapatnubayan ng inyong mga mahal sa buhay at mga kaibigan upang magkaron ng respeto at maging sensitive sa inyong mga aksyon.”
“Maging turistang may respeto at pag galang sa lugar na pinupuntahan,” the social media post added.
