LONDON Olympian Daniel Caluag is auctioning off the jersey he wore in winning the gold medal in the Southeast Asian Games in Myanmar to help victims of super typhoon ‘Yolanda’.
Caluag said proceeds of the auction for the autographed jersey will go to Gawad Kalinga’s effort in rebuilding homes for typhoon victims in Visayas.
The jersey was worn by Caluag when he won the BMX gold medal in Myanmar in December. The jersey is medium-sized with the No. 87 on the back, pertaining to his birth year of 1987.
The jersey also has the words #prayforphilippines written on it.
Caluag said the auction is being done through the efforts of Willy Santos, a Filipino professional skateboarder.
