NUEVA Ecija was recently featured in a short documentary that showcased two of its cycling destinations in the province.
In his regular documentary feature, Nueva Ecija vice governor Anthony Umali took viewers to Tanawan in Laur and in Barangay Labi in Bongabon, the last town before reaching the province of Aurora.
Umali, in the documentary entitled ‘Bisikleta’, even rode a bike, himself, along with a group of cyclists to the mountainous Nueva Ecija-Aurora province.
The documentary also showed the scenic sights cyclists can expect when they travel in Laur and Bongabon.
The province intends to become one of the best destinations for cyclists in the country.
“We have a dream. Our dream for Nueva Ecija is to make the province one of the, if not, the best biking destination in the Philippines. Ang probinsya ng Nueva Ecija ay pinagpala ng napakagagandang tanawin,” said Nueva Ecija provincial tourism head Joma San Pedro.
