THE Franzia Executives Cycling Team went the extra mile in its road of fitness and fun by fielding a squad in the Ronda Pilipinas 2018 summer race.

In its initial foray into the country's most prestigious cycling event, the Franzia PRO Team said it hopes to educate aspiring athletes on the fitness and excitement that cycling can bring through what team founder Lucio 'Jun' Cochanco labelled as the Franzia Heritage.

Two-time Ronda champion Santy Barnachea skipper a team that also includes SEA Games veteran Leonel Dimaano, Beejay Nojana, Dennis Gabaldon, Alshyrnel Amiladjid, Jinggo Tabayoyong, Mervin Corpuz and Kenneth Krog, the youngest in the team at 19.

This team is coached by Marlboro Tour multiple-stage winner Johnny Borja.

“Nalayo ako sa masamang impluwensya,” said Krog, stating how cycling changed his life since he picked up the sport at 15.
