THE Navymen dominated the Team Time Trial as expected, extending their lead after Tuesday’s Stage Six of the LBC Ronda Pilipinas 2017.
Lloyd Reynante, red jersey Rudy Roque, Ronald Lomotos, Daniel Ven Carino, Jan Paul Morales, Joel Calderon, Jay Lampawog and Archie Cardana clocked one hour, eight minutes and 16 seconds in the 46.6-km TTT from the Camsur Watersports Complex in Pili to the San Jose City Hall.
The Cris Joven-led Kinetix Lab-Army checked in at second in 1:11:25, followed by Go for Gold in 1:11:51, Bike Extrme in 1:12:07 and Ilocos Sur in 1:13:04.
Navy has a total time of 72:48:47, while Go for Gold, skippered by Ronnel Hualda, is at No. 2 with an aggregate clocking of 73:09:42 followed by Kinetix Lab-Army at 73:21:41.
Ronda will take a break again on Wednesday before resuming on Thursday with the 227-km Stage Seven from the CWC to Daet, Camarines Norte.
Roque is on top of the individual standings with a time of 18 hours, 12 minutes and 48 seconds followed by Lomotos, Carino and Morales.
Cris Joven of Kinetix Lab-Army is at No. 5 overall with a time of 18:15:51.
