JAN Paul Morales and George Oconer led a four-man PhilCycling national team to a bronze medal in the OCBC Cycle Southeast Asia Speedway Championship in Singapore.
The Philippine team that included Alab Adviento and Bhong Soriano clocked 20 minutes, 17.58 seconds to finish third behind winner Malaysia and Brunei. The Filipino cyclists bagged US$2,000.
The competition is a 10-lap race over a 1km circuit with cyclists from Singapore, Myanmar, and Cambodia also taking part.
