WATCH WWE wrestler Sting suffers neck injury in Night of Champions match against Seth Rollins
Sting, 56, gets clobbered by 29-year-old Seth Rollins.

WORLD World Wrestling Entertainment star Sting suffered an injury that could be career threatening.

The 56-year-old appeared to hurt his head and neck after being thrown onto the corner turnbuckle with a move called “bucklebomb” by Seth Rollins in Night of Champions on Sunday in Houston (Monday Manila time).

The Wrestling Observer said the “injury was legitimate” and “significant.”

Sting’s manager Steve Martinez says the wrestler is undergoing treatment and they are confident he can make a full recovery.

“As many of you may already know, Sting is undergoing treatment for the injuries he sustained in last night’s match with Seth Rollins. Doctors will continue to evaluate his condition, but he is a man of remarkable health and resiliency, especially at his age and with all he’s endured throughout his stellar career.

“Therefore, we are optimistic he will have a speedy recovery and return to full health soon. Sting has kept his body in excellent shape, due largely to the guidance he’s received from his personal trainer Jeff Cavaliere, and we trust this will prove beneficial to the recovery process.
