ULTIMATE Fighting Championship president Dana White on Twitter called World Wrestling Entertainment “fake,” drawing mixed reactions from wrestlers.

White’s comment was made hours before UFC 190 headlining Ronda Rousey in response to a social media user who complained about the UFC’s pay-per-view price of $59.99 as compared to WWE’s, which is priced at $9.99.

“I wish I could watch the Rousey fight tmrw night. Vince (Vince McMahon, WWE chairman) got you beat there @danawhite. Our PPVs are only 9.99,” said the Twitter user named @RKORollins.

White responded by writing, “I hear you bro but fake (expletive) should be $9.99.”

White added “Trust me my friend…..IT’s fake.”

When @RKORollins told White to try it out, White said “not disrespecting what they do. All the WWE guys I met are awesome people but yes it’s fake.”

A few wrestlers took offense to White’s comment, including former WWE and Total Non-Stop Action wrestler Bubby Ray Dudley, who demanded an apology from White.

“Good thing you had “FAKE” @BrockLesnar in @ufc to be your biggest PPV draw of all time,” wrote the wrestler now named Bully Ray.

Bully Ray added: “.@danawhite Sir, ‘do the right thing’ and apologize to THE industry that laid the groundwork for YOUR industry. Have a great show tonight.”

WWE champion Seth Rollins, on the other hand, wrote: “Guys, cut @danawhite some slack. I mean he’s had a million matches, so his opinion is super valid and should be taken as a gospel.”
