Best seats for historic UFC Fight Night card at MOA Arena almost sold out

THE first Ultimate Fighting Championship offering in the Philippines is turning out to be a major hit, so much so that this early premium tickets to UFC: Fight Night Manila on May 16 at the Mall of Asia Arena have been selling briskly.

As of Tuesday, in just its fifth day of sales, the Patron (P10,600) and Lower Box B (P5,830) sections are almost sold out. Ninety-one percent of the Patron seats and 87 % of the Lower Box B seats have already been taken.

The VIP (P13,250 per seat) section is 63% occupied, while 53% of the Lower Box A (P7,950) section has already been bought.

Curiously, sale of tickets to the General Admission (P1,590) and Upper Box (P3,710) seats, the two most affordable sections, have been slow at 26% and 24%, respectively. obtained the numbers on Wednesday from SM Lifestyle Entertainment Inc. thru corporate marketing manager Stephanie Henares.

Local mixed marital arts fans still have nearly two months more to buy tickets to the historic event headlined by the featherweight showdown between Frankie Edgar and Urijah Faber, as well as fights featuring Filipinos Mark Muñoz and Mark Eddiva.

All sections are reserved seating.
