TOP featherweight contender Max Holloway is set to make his first visit to the Philippines to promote the upcoming UFC Fight Night Manila: Ricardo Lamas vs BJ Penn from September 15 to 18.

The no.3 ranked Holloway will have a meet and greet session with Filipino MMA fans and an open workout at SM Megamall. UFC Fight Night Manila event ambassador Mark Munoz and Octagon girl Red Dela Cruz will join Holloway in his first fighter tour in the country. The open workout is scheduled on September 17, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Holloway currently owns the UFC’s longest active win streak in the featherweight division with nine straight victories, including wins over two fighters set to compete in Manila like headliner Lamas and Cole Miller. Heavyweights Derrick Lewis and Marcin Tybura collide in the co-main event. Flyweight title contenders Kyoji Horiguchi and Ali Bagautinov are also set to battle, along with the UFC’s first women’s bout in the Philippines between Seo Hee Ham and Danielle Taylor.

Featherweights Mizuto Hirota and Cole Miller will also trade blows, while lightweights Jon Tuck and Medhi Baghdad clash at the Mall of Asia Arena as well.
