ROLANDO Dy showed how comfortable he is in a heavier weight class as he overwhelmed Miguel Mosquera in their Pacific X-Treme Combat 51 bout on Saturday night at the Solaire Grand Ballroom.

The flamboyant Filipino fighter, who moved up from bantamweight to featherweight, connected with kicks and knees to score the unanimous decision win over his compatriot.

"Mahirap sa one thirty five dahil hindi ako makakain ng lechon," said Dy, son of boxing great Rolando Navarrete.

The lone women's bout proved to be exciting as well.

Gina Iniong didn't disappoint in his PXC return as she beat Vanessa Fernandez via submission in the main undercard.

The Filipina fighter drew the loudest cheers from the crowd after she forced her Spanish foe to tap out with a straight leg lock in round one.

"Sinubukan ko lang at pumasok naman (yung lock)," said the 26-year-old Iniong, a Team Lakay standout known more for her striking.

Jon Cris Corton, another Lakay standout, defeated Farmon Gafarov of Uzbekistan via unanimous decision.

Rex deLara stunned fellow Pinoy Stephen Loman with a right hook in the opening seconds of round one for the quickest victory of the night.
